Compost piles decompose faster when you keep air circulating in them. Push the compost aerator into your compost pile to create airshafts to keep the air flowing through your compost pile. This compost aerator has not one, but two sets of "wings" that fold back to plunge deep into the pile, then open to create new air passages. Padded handles offer comfort and the design will give you more leverage.
