Orchid Greenhouse

The FlowerHouse® OrchidHouse is designed for maximum transmission of radiant energy. Provides optimum environment for seed germination, seedling development and hardening off. This portable orchid greenhouse is lightweight and can be set up and taken down in minutes -- no tools required! Includes pre-assembled fiber poles, shade cover, ground stakes, high wind tie-downs, and carry pack.

A greenhouse with sidewalls at an angle of 60 to 70 degrees from the horizontal and a roof with a slope of 30 degrees has been found to be more efficient for the transmission of radiant energy than a structure with the same roof slope but with vertical sidewalls. During midwinter when the sun is relatively low above the horizon, the slanted sidewalls transmit more radiant energy than the vertical sidewalls. FlowerHouse® designed the OrchidHouse with this feature in mind. OrchidHouse features:
