Tips for Removing Stubborn Wheels

  • If your wheels will not come off easily, first try spraying the area around the bearing and axle with WD-40 or a similar product.

  • If the wheel still does not come off, the bearings could be seized onto the axle. Spray the bearings with a product called Never Seize or a similar product.

  • If the wheel still will not come off, try heating up the area around the bearing with a torch. WARNING: heating with a torch may ruin the bearings, thus requiring replacement of the bearings.

  • A last resort would be to cut the axle.
